Members connected over the shared experience of electric sensations, tingling, and shock-like feelings in their hands and throughout their bodies, recognizing these as common fibromyalgia symptoms that range from occasional to constant. Several members described managing these sensations with medications like Amitriptyline, Cyclobenzaprine, and Melatonin, as well as water therapy, though some noted these feelings can be severe enough to disrupt daily activities and sleep. A recurring theme was the wide variety of related sensations members experience, including vibrations, burning, muscle spasms, and pins-and-needles feelings, with many finding comfort in knowing they are not alone in navigating these confusing and often painful symptoms.

I get weird tingles and what i call hot lava blood that seems to flow through my body. When i first started having symptoms my md thought i had mild case of bells palsy but i think it was fibro symptom. Was sharp tingling sensations on left side of face that would stop me at times.

@A MyFibroTeam Member Yes getting the electricity feeling is just one more symptom a lot of us have to get used to. I have had it for 3 years now throughout my whole body. It makes it really hard to be touched or even get comfortable. I have to take Melatonin and Amitriptyline at night just to get 2 hrs of sleep. Some people have it where it comes and goes, I pray that yours will go away. God bless.

@A MyFibroTeam Member absolutely, its one of my primary symptoms. I tend to notice this as stress induced frequently.
