Members overwhelmingly shared that their fibromyalgia has worsened over time, with many describing increased pain severity, new symptoms like fibro fog, significant weight gain (up to 70 pounds), and the loss of ability to do once-enjoyed activities like hiking, running, and even basic daily tasks. Several members identified specific triggers that worsen their symptoms, including weather changes (especially dropping barometric pressure), stress, certain foods (red meat, yeast), and poor sleep, with some finding relief through dietary changes, regular exercise, and better sleep management. A recurring theme was the frustration of constant, unrelenting pain that affects every aspect of life, balanced by community encouragement to track triggers, find a new normal, and maintain hope for better days.

My Fibro goes up and down. I find I have very specific triggers. Keep a diary of what life is like for about six months months and look for points that feel worse. Foods, weather, stress, lack of sleep and lack of rest and downtime.
Hoe this helps. Finding your new normal at any point can be challenging,
Hope for better days soon.

Weather especially dropping barometric pressure makes mine worse. If I control my diet meds Sleep and exercise I have noted considerable improvement

Mine has improved a lot since I first had it. Mine seems to be very sensitive to my diet so if I eat red meat for example I get lots of soft tissue muscle aches. If I also have too much yeast it upsets my stomach and I can get a flare up this way too. So managing these things can help
Reduce my symptoms hugely. I must try to continue to eat foods that lower inflammation :-) I will have to look into this and see what if it helps even more. Has your fibromyalgia gotten better or worse pati?
