Do you get a flu shot?

Does it cause a flare?

I got my flu shot 1 1/2 weeks ago. It didn't cause a flare. I don't recall them ever causing me a flare. This past spring and summer I've had more flares than usual, but from other causes - lack of sleep, stress, family changes, etc.

No flare from the flu shot

I just got my flu shot yesterday around 3 o’clock. I usually get a flare 24 hours after I get the vaccine. This is my eighth flu shot in a row due to being forced to get it as a nurse working in the hospital. I am now retired but I continue to get the vaccine only because suffering one day of hell is better than getting the flu. I have never been sick one day since I have had fibromyalgia.
Wish me luck! Maybe this year I won’t have a flare. That would be a miracle.
