My ophthalmologist said it's dry eye. I use non preserved eye drops as needed and night time ointment. Follow the directions. Makes it livable doesn't bother me too much anymore.
Yes, I am afraid it sounds more like allergies!! They are disgusting! I have to take over the counter Benadryl for that; but I have to take Dr ordered nose drops! I am sorry that you may have allergies! I sneeze every morning, at least three times! Good luck, Sweet Friend!!
I just got Systane eye drops and they're helping it a lot well the dry eye part.
I have extremely dry eye due to sjogrens. The rims of my eyelids are very itchy. You should start on some eye drops, they certainly can't hurt. I agree with the moist compress. Also, you can use a and d ointment, the clear yellowish kind on your eyelids, it won't hurt you. If it continues, see an eye doctor. It's not something to mess with.
Lol mines my left. Right now its very red and swollen. Trying to find something to sooth the itch and dryness
