Members connected deeply over how to cope with fibromyalgia fatigue, with many agreeing that exhaustion often feels harder to manage than pain itself. Several members shared strategies that help them get through the day, including taking frequent rests between activities, napping without guilt, trying supplements like B-12, CoQ10, D-ribose, and CLA, improving nighttime sleep quality, and openly communicating limitations to family and coworkers to avoid overexertion. A recurring theme was learning to listen to your body and rest when needed rather than pushing through, as overdoing it often leads to severe flares, extended bed rest, or even emergency room visits.

Take a rest as often as you can, put your feet up with a cuppa.
I just let myself fall asleep where possible.
I used to fight it, but I go with it now, the way I see it is any sleeps better than none!
Where possibile delegate, let somone help & don't feel guilty. 😀

I rest, sometimes I can’t even make out of bed, if I overdo it, I will be in bed in excruciating pain for the next week or so. My mother doesn’t understand when I tell her that talking on the phone tires me out.
