You just got to go with the flow. When you are in a low time then you just do the important items. When things are going well then go ahead and do it all but plan rests in between so you don't over do it.
I survive only by the Grace of God. Keep your focus on Him and not yourself. Try to keep your mind occupied on the positive. :-)
Just don't over do it you'll pay for it later. Just kinda go about take ur time. Maybe when u get a high do I little more. But u just have to go about ur day reading ur body. It will definitely tell u what kinda day it is n u should listen ๐
Hi there...I know exactly how you feel. I felt great Saturday morning...got my Xmas tree...went to linand by 2 pm was ready to drop. I am learning that slow and steady wins the race. Also when your body says rest...do it. Not listening to our bodies I'd our worst enemy. God bless
When I have a better day I tend to overdo it and then crash. I've learned to slow down and pace myself. I have always taught my boys how to cook or do anything in case I need them to take over. If I start cooking dinner I often break it up and ask one of my son's to cook something like the pasta for the meal. I ask them to move heavy things or reach things up high so that I can last longer. It is good for them to understand that you need help but also see that you are doing what you can too. My boys really appreciate the meals I make even more now that they know how much it takes for me to do it and see how much it takes out of me. In the beginning they were frustrated at having to do more but when I would say I'll do this part and you do that and together we'll get this done - then they didn't mind as much. My boys have seen me when I suddenly am hit by a lot of pain or fatigue so now they will just tell me to go sit down and they will make me dinner. Also, if I don't get out of bed for a long time my youngest son (19) will bring me water and something to eat and make sure I take my medicine. He'll ask if I need something like ice packs or heating pad etc. I think it is good for them to know how to take care of someone because this will help them be a better spouse. I don't want them to be one of those men that sits in front of the TV all day wanting everything brought to him. My husband is also a good example and he helps a lot. He does all the grocery shopping for our family since I can't anymore. My oldest son sometimes brings groceries that we need because he works at a store.
I guess I've one of the lucky ones to have family that understand at home with me. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't. My husband always plans on cooking the Christmas or Thanksgiving dinner just in case I can't get up. We also don't do anything fancy to avoid stress. My family that live out of state don't understand as much although some are trying more than others. My goes out to those trying to deal with this alone.
