Didn't work. I did take Lyrica but gained 60lbs in 10 months, they took me off it. Instead I was prescribed Gabapentin. Very similar to Lyrica with very little weight gain, although you have to take it 3xs a day. I have tried to come off it several times over 5 years but the pain is too bad without it. I don't like that it's a dependancy drug even though it's not a narcotic. You will go through withdrawal if you try to stop it, so weening is important. No luck with acupuncture however IMT (intramuscular therapy) worked but is expensive if you don't have insurance. Cannabis works and I am looking at filling a prescription that doesn't require I smoke it. Antidepressants didnt help. Hope this helps! Fibro sucks!
I believe there's a difference in the quality of essential oils, so I recommend researching before buying, regardless of price. I only use them for the psychological effect, lol! Like calming lavender or perk-up spearmint.
If I were going to use them for fibro or any other serious reason, I'd want to consult with an expert - and to me that's the reason to buy the more expensive ones, to get the advice that comes with it, through a storefront or a direct dealer.
@A MyFibroTeam Member, sorry to hear about your experience with acupuncture. If it wasn't for acupuncture I would not have a life. I fly to see a guy in Phoenix twice year. He has changed my life completely as far as fibromyalgia goes . And so sorry that it was painful for you. I have never had acupuncture where it has hurt. I hope you will find something that helps !

I really doubted the claims of medical cannabis oil...but it really works. For the first time in days, I don't wish I was dead. Lyrica worked for awhile but the side effects are scary.
I gave oils a chance for one year. They did not help at all. Zero difference.
People sell them in a multilevel marketing company. Won't say the brand but it is based here in Utah. A lot of people say they work but they just never worked on me. If you're going to try them I would start out trying them somewhere cheaper. They are very expensive going through his company. Good luck!
