Members overwhelmingly affirmed that Gabapentin helps manage fibromyalgia pain, with many sharing that they didn't realize how much it was working until they tried stopping or reducing their dose and experienced significantly worse symptoms. Several members offered practical advice, including taking it at night to minimize brain fog and dizziness, staying hydrated to counter dryness side effects, and combining it with other medications like Tramadol for better pain control, with dosages ranging widely from 300mg to 3600mg daily depending on individual needs. A recurring theme was the trade-off between relief and side effects like memory issues, swelling, and tingling, but the consensus remained that for most people the benefits outweigh the drawbacks when it comes to making daily activities and sleep more manageable.

Gabentin does help! Because when I can't use it or the amount needed for the day it is worse for me! Not saying it helps a lot but when you don't take it......you definitely can tell the difference!!!!!

My husband takes it. He can only take it at night. He is wimpy with meds. Any thing makes him dizzy. The side effects are to much for him during the day. He takes his at night and is doing great. Has anyone looked at your cervical spine for compression? You sound just like he was.
My friend takes it for her sciatica. Fines it helps a lot.

I take Gabapentin, and I think it really helps bringing my pain to a tolerable level. I actually do take it for other conditions as well..
