I have recently been referred to the iPass team I don't know what country your in but I'm in the U.K. And I asked my doctor to referred to a pain team/ fibromyalgia team and they have signed me up to loads of groups and gave me support. You need to tell your doctor to refer you or go to a different doctor
If you read my "Story" you will see the 'help' I got from the pain clinic. I also went on a pain management course but it didn't teach me anything my own research hadn't. They basically didn't think fibro was any big deal. Haven't heard if ipass, probably a local thing to the poster.
I was diagnosed by a neurologist and she referred me back to gp! I have a great one and she wants to see me every four weeks!
Hi Danni100 I am in the UK too, where do you go to see the fibromyalgia team please.
I'm in the UK, was diagnosed with fibromyalgia then discharged from the consultant and told to manage it. I've had no help at all after this so it's good to hear about the ipass team. I'll look into it thanks.
