Last year my FSH was like at 5 and then a year later it was over 100. My primary doctor told me I am per-menopause. I went to a endo and the Dr. told me there is NO WAY my FSH would go from 5 to 100 in just a year. He did blood work and did say he did conclude I was per-menopausal. I asked him if there was anything underling that could cause such a huge jump, and told me no. So what the heck then? Why are my hormones going crazy so quickly?! You need to get more information from your doctors. That means YOU have to ask more questions and tell the doctor what you don't understand. If you are still not getting the answers you need, it is time to change doctors.
@A MyFibroTeam Member! Glad I am not the only one but it sux you have to go through this too. My doctor kept tellimg me "there is no way you are in menopause" and then when my blood test proved it he said " Oh I guess you are." Ugh... When are they going to realize they can't use the "normal" scale on everyone. I would think having an autoimmune condition already keeps me out of the norm predicaments.
@AmyKrenke - I agree, Never put up with a doctor who cannot put your mind at ease.

Have you been tested for Lupus?
You are not the only one. I am 41 and in menopause, the youngest in my entire family on both sides except the two that had hysterectomies at young ages
