Yes, gingivitus and bleeding gums, despite flossing and brushing regularily, i have just started a new thing: oil pulling. It is used in India to cleanse teeth. You get a teaspoon of natural coconut or olive oil and swish it in your mouth and through your teeth for 20 min. ( it will bubble up) amazing what comes out of the gums and teeth. I follow up with a good brushing because the oil leaves a bit of a film, mouth feels super clean after.
Mine are receding due to no saliva from Sjogrens Syndrome.
Another consideration...those with gerd are more prone to gum and teeth issues from the stomach acid. Also if you use a bile binding agent for ibs-d or if you take protonix, those both cause gingivitis and can make teeth have issues. I speak from experience.
And I have to wait until it has healed and that can take a year maybe longer the toothpast is very expensive so are the little brushes It's on my mind every day! Good Luck and God willingly it will stop and the torture will finally end!
Yes, I always brushed well and I saw my teeth started to move and the dentalhygynist said it's paradontitus I need to brush with special toothpaste and massage my gums with a tiney rubber toothpick kind of tool! It's frustrating and scares me!
