Members connected over the unexpected and often humorous reality of pubic hair loss, with many sharing that they have experienced similar thinning or loss in various areas while noticing an increase in facial hair. Several members suggested potential causes including natural aging, thyroid issues (recommending bloodwork to check hormone levels), hysterectomy, or friction from clothing rubbing against the pubic bone. A recurring theme was the shared humor and solidarity around these confusing body changes, with members laughing together about the irony of losing hair in some places while gaining it in others like chins and sideburns.
