@A MyFibroTeam Member I have been having this issue of not understanding people when they talk I am unable to decipher what they are saying to me. Either I have to just ignore it or it drives me crazy trying to figure out why this is happening. Sometimes it is so bad that it just sounds like garble to me. I have excellent hearing but I was seriously thinking to make an ear appointment to see if something was wrong. So is this truly another symptom of fibro? Hugs
Oh yes. Feel like that often. On those days I avoid people. Even don't feel like talking to husband or hearing him talk....just leave me alone. It's to hard to concentrate on what people are saying and thinking of a sound and coherent reply.
Definitely! And often, when that mood strikes, I get a massive brain fog and can't concentrate enough to understand what someone said. Very frustrating.
Yes, for sure. I even find it hard to listen.
