Members overwhelmingly confirmed that Cymbalta caused excessive sweating for them, with many describing it as severe enough to be socially isolating and embarrassing, including sweat pouring down their heads and chests even while sitting indoors with air conditioning. Several members shared that they underwent extensive heart testing only to find nothing wrong, and many expressed frustration that doctors dismissed the sweating as unrelated to the medication. A recurring theme was the importance of weaning off Cymbalta very slowly and carefully under medical supervision, as abruptly stopping can cause brutal withdrawal symptoms, with members urging each other to research the process independently and not rely solely on physician guidance.

I have been on cymbalta for years and they help me a lot I don't get excessive sweating on them I did come off them for other reasons and to try something different see if it worked better so tried Nortriptyline and they did not suit me at all apparently I was a nasty bitch on them but different meds affect different people just be careful Hun and I hope it goes okay for you gentle hugs 🤗 Xx

Mary Poppins1:. I sure did! She was wonderful. I am in the process of weaning off the cymbalta and she started me on Nortriptyline. I am especially anxious and have low tolerance for rudeness right now, so I hope this new med kicks in soon. I'm worried my mood will get me in trouble more than anything at this point, but praise the good Lord I am able to get off the cymbalta! Gentle hugs to you and best wishes!

Yea...I did and it also made me nauseous and headache-y. Coming off that stuff was no picnic either. If you do discontinue it, follow the protocol vey carefully or it can be problematic. Talk to your physician if you are concerned.
