Soreness After Workout!?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Is it "normal" to be sore for 3 days after a workout? My significant other says that's what happens when you workout. Well this pain seems more intense than a workout should produce. So here I lie in bed after a little strength training Friday. Sadface.

Not that I'm an expert on exercise at all, but I have been told before that strength training is not recommended for Fibro sufferers. Naturally I ignored that advice and jumped straight in with both feet!! Took almost a week for the soreness to settle, but it was different to normal Fibro pain. I kinda didn't mind it so much, I at least felt like it was a productive kind of discomfort!
What really kills me is stuff like vacuuming or mopping the whole house, washing the car, vacuuming out the car etc etc. For whatever reason I experience so much pain from this type of exertion now, that I put it off and then the house gets gross. :-(

That is why I despise excercise. :) I can do some yoga and walking. I cannot do anything that pushes me or a week of living terror. One thing to try is supplements for lactic acid buildup. They have helped me some when I physically overdid on one of my good, got to get everything done quick while I can, days.
