OK so since the start of the year I've caught 3 colds. In the middle of cold number 3 now. My question is does anyone else find they catch colds very often?

Members connected over the shared frustration of catching frequent colds, with many describing how simple colds often escalate into more serious respiratory infections like bronchitis, pneumonia, and chest infections, especially for those with conditions like COPD or asthma. Several members offered practical suggestions, including taking Vitamin C supplements, getting Vitamin D levels tested (with one member sharing how high-dose Vitamin D resolved their recurring illnesses and cold sores), and practicing better hand hygiene by avoiding touching the nose to prevent germ transmission. A recurring theme was the relief of not being alone in this struggle, as well as the additional challenges of managing frequent illness without insurance or while juggling chronic respiratory conditions.

Have you had vitamin D tested? I was getting sick and also getting cold sores every other week. They started me on 50,000 units a week for 12 weeks and have been fine since! My prescription is out so will see what happens next
