I maybe didn't make myself clear with my last question about weight gain --- think back to BEFORE you were prescribed meds - when you were first diagnosed or when it was suspected that your symptoms might be fibro --- were you gaining weight or had you gained weight for no apparent reason?? I guess I'm asking if weight gain is a symptom?? thanks

I'm afraid your Dr isn't very knowledgeable in diet, exercise and weight gain. I would also try to find someone that knows and understands fibro! I know how frustrated u r and just know that we're all in the same boat!!! Hugs

Tomorrow I am seeing a different doctor as mine is on holiday. I WILL DEF ASK HIM WHAT HE THINKS. i am having knee replacement surgery in August and had really hoped I would lose weight before then. I Joined a gym today as I need to do the stationary bike. I am from OHIO too but live in Ireland now.
