Members validated the intense burning and hypersensitive skin sensations described in the post, with many sharing similar experiences ranging from burning shins and ankles to painful scalp sensitivity and skin so tender that normal clothing becomes unbearable. Several members mentioned trying practical strategies like elevating legs, wearing soft flowing dresses or leggings, using medicated scalp treatments, and taking Tylenol (which one member found more helpful than prescription pain medications for skin discomfort). A recurring theme was the frustration of feeling dismissed by doctors who either attribute everything to fibromyalgia without further investigation or seem skeptical of these very real symptoms, leaving many members searching for answers while reassuring each other that the pain is legitimate and not imagined.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. It's so uncomfortable! For me, the only thing that helps that particular symptom is Tylenol. For some reason it helps more than tramadol and Neurontin for skin discomfort. Hope this helps!

I have it also some days I can't wear normal clothes because them rubbing against my skin makes it burn more. I've started wearing long flowing dresses and really soft leggings.
