Many community members responded to the question about feeling like fire is going through the body, with an overwhelming number confirming they experience this burning sensation regularly. Several members described it as feeling like being barbecued, struck by lightning, or covered in icy hot, often paired with tingling, numbness, and heat that mimics a fever. A recurring theme was that while the sensation is hard to control, some members found relief through hand braces, physical rest, and calming anxiety, though many shared that on the worst days, the only option is to push through.

Some times it comes on and I can't do a thing about it but sometimes I have to just really analyse my thoughts. If I am super anxious and stressed and I can calm myself down it can lessen. Or sometimes a physical rest will help. But for sure I have days where nothing I do will stop it and you try your best just to push through

Yes, at times. Probably a flare! Doesn't last long on me but it is annoying and painful at times

Yes! It's quite painful to wake up feeling like I am on fire. It isn't all the time, but enough to dread it happening. Has anyone found a solution?

Yes. Not all the time though. But it's really weird. Almost like I rubbed icy hot everywhere.
