Members shared their experiences with thigh pain related to fibromyalgia, describing it as a deep, achy sensation similar to overexertion or muscle soreness that persists even at rest and often worsens with movement. Several members offered practical strategies that have helped them, including heat application, Voltaren or capsaicin cream, staying well-hydrated (with many noting that drinking water brought quick relief), and supplementing with magnesium and potassium to reduce muscle spasms and tightness. A recurring theme was the importance of patience with supplements (which can take two weeks to show effects), eating bananas before bed to help prevent nighttime cramping, and using products like Natural Calm magnesium to support both muscle comfort and better sleep.

I wake up in the middle of the night every night having muscle spasms. They start in my toes and work all the way up to my neck and arms. Everyone of my doctors blame it on fibro. Drink plenty of water (92 ounces) a day, and I have found if I eat a banana just before bed it helps
Gentle hugs!

Also if you are not on potassium and magnesium I suggest you start on that as it really does help the muscles. It takes a good two weeks to fully kick in

"Natural Calm" magnesium supplement helps a little with muscle spasm and tightness plus it helps with sleep.
