I was having the same problems. It turned out to be cataracts in both eyes. I had a WONDERFUL ophthalmologist! I wore contacts at the time. When he did the surgery he corrected my vision in both eyes. Now I have 20/20 vision and no glasses or contacts! You might consider asking him about cataracts.
Do you have any history in your family of glaucoma? I get blurry vision after reading, double vision sometimes and a difficulty seeing at night. An eye dr recently explained one form of glaucoma is an opening behind the iris which allows fluids to drain is too narrow. The fluid cannot drain properly because of the narrow opening and builds up. If it gets too bad and causes too much pressure in your eye, it can push the pupil out causing blindness. It is worth asking about.
I tend to get blurred vision at night! I put it down to my medication tho...pretty annoying isn't it? Hugs to you!
