After eating I get this pain in my chest or I feel like food going down my esophagus and there is pain. It's a sharp pain and it feels like I am unable to breathe. Has anyone had this happen to them before??? It's like the food is moving??? It's hard to explain??

@Torrie- Always check in at the Emergency Room. Last July my daughter took me to the ER because I was having chest pain, back pain, pain in my arms. They did a CAT Scan and found that I have an ulcer on my Aorta. I was in for three days. This year in April my doctor sent me in for a CAT Scan to see if it remained the same or - - had grown. Thank the Good Lord it remained the same. I thought I was having a heart attack and so did my daughter who is a registered nurse.

Don't just think about chest pain - - find out what is causing it.

I have had esophageal .spasms which also mimic a heart attack. Don't try to play your own doctor. Find out for sure what the pain is. God Bless you and give you God;ly Wisdom when it comes to chest pain.

You are a new you. Try to work with your body not against the new you. Manage your pain first so you can do other lit stuff like walking you dog. Or a tia chi class. Rearrange the house for your convenience. Don't use stairs. Use plastic if you drop glasses. Get new clothes that let you move nothing tight on muscles, you hair mage get brittle thing like that you can fix. But your still you not better or worse you are just a different you. Morn the old you as you get stuff to help the new you. Just your body has changed not your inner you. Talk when ever u want jalyn

Hi yes I have had these symptoms that you describe. I really thought I had a major problem with my esophagus . But it has subsided now. As with all my fibro symptoms they attack me and I suffer for a while then it seems to start some where else . I.e. elbows shoulders, neck I suffer constantly with hip legs and burning in my feet. I have very bad pain in the mornings in My calfs and heels some mornings I last back down and rest a while. My hands a wrist have started to be very painful early morning and last thing at night.
I find No one understands me , I fall asleep all the time and can totally go 24 hrs . My family just don't want to know. I have gone from being a career driven go getta to this , it breaks my heart will I ever be back to the old me .
