If so, does it help keep you motivated and moving, or is it a waste of money for people with fibro (and therefore fatigue)?
I use mine mostly for monitoring my heart rate as I run unusually tachycardic or high heart rate and I also used to monitor my lack of sleep due to my restless leg syndrome, but then got too obsessed with not sleeping and it just stressed me out more. Lol! So I wear mine as a watch and heart monitor.
I had a cheapie that last few months but getting a fitbit. It has helped me track that i can get faster for my walk otherwise u just think u are doing the same
I got my first fitbit 6 years ago to track my sleeping patterns fitness was a nice added bonus
But I've found them not as helpful as they could be and cheaply made I've gone through 6 charges and two charge hrs
Thank you, the Fitbit gets more features every time a new one comes out. Now I have a better idea of what I would find useful. Hugs xxx
I use a Fitbit for several things: tracking sleep, logging exercise, tracking steps. When I'm foggy, I can see if poor sleep was a factor, I record my exercise(yoga) and I like that I can see how well controlled my heart rate was(I have the tracker with a heart rate monitor) and, finally, I use my tracker to keep my steps DOWN to a reasonable number (my pain is restless)
