Does anyone else find that wearing a normal bra is unbearable for more than a few hours? I have switched to wearing a sports bra to work everyday and it has made a huge difference.

Members overwhelmingly agreed that traditional bras with underwires have become unbearable, with many switching to sports bras, seamless options, or going bra-free entirely to reduce pain and discomfort throughout the day. Several members shared practical alternatives that have worked for them, including Bali wireless bras from Kohls, seamless bras from Sainsburys, tank tops under clothing to prevent skin irritation, and diabetic socks for foot comfort. A recurring theme was the tension between comfort and appearance, with many members expressing that they wear supportive bras only when necessary for work or social situations but immediately remove them once home, prioritizing pain relief over conventional expectations.

Goodbye underwire. I found a terrific bra made by Bali that "holds things in place" without the torture of underwire. Got it at Kohls (I'm sure they're sold in many places though).

Yes I have found all bras to be uncomfortable, even sports bras. I have a couple of bras I wear when I need to that are really lightweight but I take them off as soon as I am safely able to. Otherwise when I don't have to wear one I go without.

If it wasn't against the law in at least 48 states, I would never wear a bra! It's torture! I'm a busty girl and a sports bra would not do these puppies any good! Lol!
As soon as I am alone or done for the day, off goes the bra! Freedom!

Thank you for bringing that up SamanthaFors! I mostly wear a sports bra now! Unfortunately I am a 36DDD and I've had 3 kids so a sports bra doesn't exactly flatter me! I wear a regular bra if I'm going somewhere i need to look more presentable but I can't wait to get home and rip it off after a couple of hours!

I have also switched to sports bras, don't know how I wore underwires for years. Much less discomfort!
