Members shared their frustration with family members who struggle to understand fibromyalgia, with many expressing that even after 20 years, loved ones and doctors often dismiss symptoms or question their legitimacy. Several members recommended practical steps including printing internet resources for family to read, asking a doctor to explain the condition directly to relatives (particularly male partners who may respond better to medical authority), and directing loved ones to online communities like this one where they can see thousands of people sharing similar experiences. A recurring theme was the painful isolation of living with an invisible illness, the exhaustion of constantly having to justify real suffering, and the validation found in connecting with others who truly understand what it's like to sleep 18 to 20 hours a day and still be doubted.

I have other things wrong including the veins around my brain are getting clogged. I don't even talk to anyone about my problems and my husband either. I have to share with all of you and my drs. Thanks
