Members connected over experiencing sharp shooting pains in the back that radiate from top to bottom, often lasting only a few seconds but varying in intensity and sometimes extending to the legs and arms. Several members shared that tracking pain episodes with their doctors has been helpful, while others mentioned using Tramadol for relief, though breakthrough pain still occurs. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of these unpredictable pain episodes, with many expressing fear of having them in public and the exhaustion that comes from living with chronic nerve pain.

@A MyFibroTeam Member Those sharp pains make me cry out. I am so afraid I will be out somewhere and they will start. I will be hollering and people will think I am nuts. Really it doesn't matter what people think!!! Pain and fatigue takes away so much of our energy and the will to get up and keep going. I hope you will be able to find something to help you. I take Tramadol but still have those sharp pains at times. Hugs
