I found Lyrica to be stronger/better than gabapentin. I realize they are pretty much the same thing, there is one element in the Lyrica that works better with my body. I also am on a pain patch. That was super and is very helpful.

Yes, Lyrica was more helpful to me. I swore to the doctor originally that I did not have fibro, I was just a busy person, but he said "humor me and try lyrica" So I did and it was fantastic, that was years ago and it still works very well for me . Good luck !

I take Tramadol, Methocarbonol, Savella, and Limbrel. Most days I feel pretty good then I'll overdue it and put myself down for several days of fatigue.

Get some deep massage done as the issues will be muscular from lower back down. Particularly hips. All those tight muscles build up and up. A good massage person or a physio should know what to do. It's surprising how far the chain goes. I have post surgery shoulders and even getting my hands massages, relieves the shoulder pain. Much better than adding to the drug list!

Pain patches and heating pads help save my sanity. When muscle spasms are over the top... Flexeril ( muscle relaxant) gives me some relief.
