It helps with pain better than anything else I've tried, but it makes me sweat horribly! I'm taking 30mg and I'm supposed to be taking 60mg, but I sweat too bad!
Anyone else have this?

Members shared mixed experiences with Cymbalta for fibromyalgia pain, with many confirming that excessive sweating and hot flashes are common side effects, particularly at the 60mg dose, though most felt the pain relief was worth managing the sweating. Several members described extremely difficult withdrawal symptoms when trying to stop the medication, including dizziness, brain zaps (described as painful electrical sensations in the head and neck), mood swings, and nausea, with some members still experiencing symptoms more than a year after stopping. A recurring theme was frustration that doctors don't always warn patients about how hard Cymbalta can be to discontinue, leading many to wish they had known before starting, though some members continue taking it because the pain relief outweighs the side effects.

I took it for a few years then came off it when I found Malic acid took the biggest part of muscle and nerve pain away.

I'm currently weaning off Cymbalta after 2 yrs of taking it. At first it helped. Then after about a year, not so much. I asked my Doc to put me on Lyrica. Can't take the side affects. Meanwhile still TRYING to wean off the Cymbalta. If I had know the withdrawal symptoms were do horrific, I wouldn't have started taking it at all. I'm down to ONE 30mlg every 2 days but the awful withdrawal symptoms force me to take one when I start feeling them!!!!

I had to stop taking it as it gave me horrible headaches.I sweat constantly regardless ,just another wonderful side effect of Fibro. My daughter gained a lot of weight with it and it never really helped enough to be worth the side effects for her either.
