Has Anyone Been Able To Get On Disability?

I work once, sometimes twice a week as a freelance wedding video editor. I want to be able to still work doing that as it is my passion and the only job I can physically be able to do (and where my boss understands my health problems), but during this time of the year, we don't have enough work for me to be there consistently... Getting disability for fibro on its own is hard since for the most part it's not considered a disabling condition. So most who have just it and wish/need to go on SSI or the like need to fight in many cases a long battle to do so. And if you can work at all then that tends to throw your case out the window.
