Pregnancy?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone had fibro, and got pregnant after the diagnosis? Did the fibro make it extra difficult? Does anyone have suggestions as to how to handle complications, or should I just avoid the idea of pregnancy?

Can't tell you what is best for you, but I had five children plus 1 miscarriage after my diagnosis. I actually felt pretty good each time until the extra weight in last trimester made me uncomfortable. I breast fed them and avoided meds before, during, and after each pregnancy. Relied a lot on chiro adjustments and stretching. Carrying babies and infant seats around was a challenge. Keeping up with toddlers was tough, too. But I look back and am glad I had them. Most are in their 20s now and are a great emotional support for me.
