What dosage does everyone take...if they don't mind sharing. I am wondering if it's a negotiable kind of thing, or firm like flexeral?

Members discussed their experiences with Cymbalta dosages ranging from 30mg to 120mg, with many noting that the medication is negotiable and can be adjusted based on individual tolerance and effectiveness. Several members shared that higher doses like 60mg caused challenging side effects including sleep problems, rapid heart rate, low sex drive, depression, and severe withdrawal symptoms when discontinuing, leading many to taper back down to 30mg or stop altogether. A recurring theme was how differently each person responds to the medication, with some finding relief when combined with Lyrica or gabapentin, while others experienced no pain relief at all and ultimately chose to discontinue use.

It's negotiable
I went up to 120mg
But I feel I should warn you about cymbalta---not to scare you---what the doc won't tell you is how awful withdrawals are when it stops working
It helped me for about 2 years and then my body built a resistance/tolerance so I had to SLOWLY go down
It has its own discontinuation syndrome
Good luck

I take 60 mg per day and my doctor says I am maxed on that one. I take 225 mg of lyrics with room to add. The combination works well for me...don't know if that info helps or not. Some don't like or can't take the lyrica

@A MyFibroTeam Member when I started on it it did nothing to help my pain what so ever but in effect killed my sex drive and started my depression into gear that was made worse by getting put on 60mg.

Back on the 30mg and sex drive is still low to non existence but the depression side of things is not as bleak as it started out it's gotten semi better over the past 7 days I've been back on the 30mg.

Pain wise the 30mg did nothing and the 60mg also did nothing to touch the pain what so ever unfortunately.
