Depression...any Suggestions For Something Natural That REALY Works?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

feeling pretty down lately...I am on Welbutrin 75 mg and my Dr. wants me on 150 XR, but it makes my anxiety go crazy. He prescribed me Paxil and told me to stop the Welbutrin. I am afraid to make another change...last time he made a change I had a breakdown that was last summer and I am still recovering from it...Afraid to make a change...but afraid not too...make sense?

Check for inteactions! St johns wort and 5htp can interact with many meds. One of the best natural remedies for depression is exercise and activities....just the things you don't feel like doing when depressed! But it works. Force yourself to do 15 min or more every single day.

The CALM is a form of magnesium. Many on here say it helps with there pain...That why I went and bought it yesterday...but the bottle also says it helps calm you and helps with anxiety...so hopefully two bangs for one buck! xoxo

I found L-TYROSINE and am so grateful! It naturally helps dopamine levels. I take it with my antidepressants. I wish I would have found it sooner.

ok I got the GNC brand of L-Tyrosine 1000mg. He suggested one daily. How many mg do you take and how often and what time of day?
They had the CALM mg supplement in there cheaper than I could find it online as well. I hope all this stuff helps... xoxo

I was prescribed both Welbutrin and Paxil . I had scary side effects and it effected my mental state too. The Paxil i wasn't raking more than 10 days and after my own researching found it was not to be prescribed for bipolar disorder patients. I have not been able to find a medication for pain. I use Seroquel and Duloxetine to treat bipolar disorder and my mental state has improved a lot. With that being said I have been able to increase light exercise and walking. My fybromyalgia pain has improved a little, before I had pain every day, now 3-4 days of the week.
