I get migraines almost daily. I have had back and neck surgery and before that I went to a chiropractor my surgeons insist that he made my back worse. So be careful going to them.
@A MyFibroTeam Member, some people can have chiropractic manipulations & some cannot. I'm another one of those who can't have them. I STILL suffer from horrible muscle spasms from a Chiropractor! And that was nine years ago....:'(
I had migraines for forty years daily. I had tried everything. A few weeks ago my dr put me on Elavil and I haven't had any more. I think the reason they are so hard to treat is that there are many kinds. I had four kinds. Evidently mine are caused from too much serotonin.
There are times when I get migraine like symptoms around the left eye area and I believe this is related to the trigeminal nerve, at least in my case. Weather change can also produce these symptoms, like cloudiness and really bright sun.
