I find after I have done anything I have spasms. They seem the worst when I lay down. Grocery shopping will lay me up for a day or 2. When I lay down my legs will tighten bending my knees, toes and fingers curl, everything is effected. When I have been on my feet for too long. I actually wake up in the fetal positions. Also, when I first lay down. I get cramps in different areas, that are terrible I have to massage the area or try to walk it out, etc. .
I find magnesium helps. I can't take it internally because of the IBS, but I use magnesium oil every night on my legs and that takes care of the leg cramps. I also take epsom salt baths regularly and if I can't do that I put magnesium flakes in a foot bath and let me feet soak while reading or watching TV.
Apparently my twitches are due to having a b12 deficiency, I have to have injections every 3 months that help but i still twitch a bit x
Magnesium is excellent for spasms.
Pretty normal fir fibro & perhaps you can ask doctor for muscle relaxers🌹
My hands and feet curl as if going into a cramp but I can sometimes save it from doing so by stretching them if that makes sense?I thought this was just some bizarre symptom that I got myself...
