Anyone ever feel like their joints are falling out of socket? Not completely dislocated, just misaligned or something. My right shoulder is often very uncomfortable and I don't have full range of motion. My right hip does the same thing and sometimes when I do yoga, I feel them pop back into place and the numbness and discomfort goes away but I start getting a lot of itchy nerve pain from the joint all the way through my fingers or toes. I get this quite frequently in my hips and shoulders. It is brutal when my hip pops out while I'm bicycling or my lower back shudders into a new alignment when I get up from sitting for a long time. I have found staying active "just keep moving" as my chiropractor suggested helps a great deal. You can also try gentle physical therapy exercises to strengthen the surrounding muscles. When my life permits me to get up and move around, walk for an hour or two a day, I rarely experience these issues. I am also hypermobile (crazy flexible), and I think this contributes as well.
I have this with right hip, as you say as if out of socket, very painful, tried Pilates but due to arthritis in lower spine and neck, struggling with it. I constantly have numbness in feet and pins and needles. Get sensitive to pain on occasions in left arm and leg, like someone is holding iron against skin, working with chronic pain team. X
My Hips feel like a cross between dislocation or spasming. I also have issues with my knees and shoulders. It's just painful and flustrating.
I have had a problem with my right hip since the fibromyalgia started. It's as you say feels as if not in socket properly, I used to be able to shop till I drop, those days are gone. I dread going now because I know the pain I will be in π§
Hi sunshine 8722 unfortunately yes I also have these symptoms .
Not sure if it's the fibromyalgia alone or along side other disorders.
Recently found I have arthritis which has caused my posture to be wonky.
Have just started seeing a physiotherapist who is showing me gentle exercises on a ball as well as working on my weak leg muscle manually ( painful )
Good luck, keep working on yourself as we find out more as we go along.
