I am a doT#$$ Wellness Advocate so I know about Essential Oils. I'm talking anything other than that. Diets, exercises, herbal remedies, etc.
Magnesium oil (magnesium chloride in water) and epsom salt baths are good for muscle pain, joint pain and pain through joint stiffness.
Any heat/ warm water therapies I've found useful.
@A MyFibroTeam Member is right, I think attitude plays a big part so strategies that help you change negative thoughts and practices like meditation and yoga (not physically demanding yoga but focusing on connecting with your breath to slow the mind).
For IBS pain, fennel is a great herbal tea and has a much more subtle flavour than peppermint.
Accupuncture.
Calming music.
Find a Chinese acupuncturist that knows about fibro and has treated many patients successfully.
It changed my life and now I'm back in control. You will find your answer. It is different for all of us. Just don't give up!

I take 300mg magnesium with lunch & dinner so 600mg a day. It helps with muscle cramps.
Thank you! I have an ongoing battle with my husband who is really on my case about exercising. I keep telling him that it's very difficult for me to exercise in the traditional sense but walking, stretching and yoga are all fine (some to most days). How do I get my husband to understand that weights, cardio and that sort of thing really does more harm than good? Or that some days it's just impossible to even walk around the block? He's got it stuck in his head that not exercising enough has caused my Fibro and therefore exercising more will somehow "cure" it. I need reference material for him to read about things like this that go in to detail about types of exercise and that sometimes exercise IS NOT a good thing. His negativity really brings me down and I know that does NOT help. I think he believes that Fibro is party in my head or some sort of "excuse" or mental thing.
Attitude, coping skills, a great doctor and many natural remedies really work, Essential Oils, also hemp oil, I use PURE CBD Tincture when nothing else seems to be working this does, but it is not my main remedy, but with Fibro, RLS, Narcolepsy and Parkinson's you do what you have to, and NEVER GIVE UP!
