Does Anyone Else Suffer Raynauds?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hiya.. this is my first time posting here and I'm not even sure if it'll work! Lol but just a message to see, does anyone else suffer from Raynauds? It used to only occur in the same 2 fingers on each hand but now, this past week, my whole 2 hands are affected and I lose power in my hands until I can get them warmed up again! It's awful. Does anyone have any ideas recommended tips on how to help or ease the symptoms? T.I.A xx

Yes I have it too. I describe it as being alergic to the cold. And it hurts so bad!! Few fingers on each hand and few toes on each foot. Also ears! Ouch!
I never go out in the cold without good gloves and thick socks. My Raynaud's can come on in seconds. And it seems to run pretty strong in fibro patients.
Raynaud's also runs along the female lines in families.

Probably peripheral neuropathy, I have that now in my hands and feet but I remember years ago having problems like this with my fingers first. All peripheral means is in the extremities(hands, feet, legs and arms) and neuropathy is nerve damage. The first time I heard this phrase, I was like "What in the world is that?"

I've had renauds for years. I wear good gloves and in the winter you can get the hand warmers to put in your gloves
