So I'm seeing a pain management doctor they know about fibro but not as much so I'd like to get a real fibro doctor I just Don't what kind of doctor to see.
Thanks for the info.
Firstly, go to a Rheumatologist. You may develop nerve issues, then see a Neurologist. Make sure you are taking Calcium, Potassium, and most importantly Magnesium. If you develop Neuropathy, go see a Podiatrist.
Mostly important is to do your own research. There is a lot more good info out now. When I started to research the doctor's were telling us that it was all in our heads. Everyone feels pain in a different manner. You must not compare your pain to anyone else's pain. Stick up for yourself and if you need a nap because you cannot take another step as your body just refuses, go take a nap. As a matter of fact, take as many naps as you can.
It was important in my life to grieve over my old life and embrace your new one. I had to go through the many stages of the death of my old body. In doing so, I have a great new one.
Maybe u can share the cocktail?
Lol.
I tried tramadol and felt dizzy. does it help with your pain relief?
It ends up being such a cycle of what to take and what not to take. In some ways, I just want to stop everything, though I know I would have to cut back slowly. I know that a lot of this stuff really messes with your brain.
I saw a neurologist. That did nothing. I think a rheumatologist is a best choice because they run all kinds of test and are probably more knowledge than a pain management doctor. My opinion only.
I saw a rheumatologist they are the one who diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia. But they referred me back to my doctor.
