Members shared practical remedies for persistent itchy ear canals, a frustrating symptom many had not realized was connected to fibromyalgia until the conversation brought it up. Several members recommended warm water with hydrogen peroxide, a small amount of olive oil, or antihistamines to reduce the irritation, with some noting that antihistamines take time to work but can be paired with olive oil for more immediate relief. A recurring theme was the surprise and relief of discovering this symptom is documented as fibromyalgia-related, often occurring alongside tinnitus and TMJ issues.

I still think Jayne's idea sounds good. Anti histamine seem to help but you have to wait for them to work, olive oil is good to use while you wait you only need a tiny bit.

@A MyFibroTeam Member thanks didnt think of anti histamine. Ive tried warm water but when it dries out same applies lol. Bever tried olive oil but worried it would make ears sticky or worse. That said i will try it as it drives me insane at times.

Huge pipe cleaner, in one ear out the other, hold both ends and pull back and forth! ;-)

@A MyFibroTeam Member yes it is documented. I didnt realise until recently. That as well as tinitus and tmj it all tend to go together.
