Members responded warmly to someone sharing their first Botox treatment experience for pain management, offering prayers, gentle hugs, and hope that the treatment would bring relief despite initial soreness. Several members shared mixed personal experiences, with some finding success using Botox for conditions like facial blepharospasm, while others described difficult side effects or finding better relief through alternative treatments like lidocaine injections and nerve freezing procedures. A recurring theme was the importance of monitoring for side effects, staying in communication with doctors, and remaining open to trying different treatments until finding what works best for your individual pain journey.

It gave him some relief and he was able to move around more and not be so stiff but he has found something that works better for him. He gets lidocaine injections and infusions and has added having his lower spine frozen every 3 months. He still does the lidocaine injections about once or twice a month to carry him to his next freezing date. The freezing and lidocaine have made a huge difference in his pain, range of motion, the moaning in pain is gone. There are still some days he feels absolutely terrible but compared to what it used to be his complaints are few and far between. Theses treatments have been a God sent for him.
