Since going to the pain clinic my Dr has noticed that my head tilts to one side and the side it tilts to the shoulder is raised. This is normally a symptom of a shoulder injury. I did all the tests and there is no damage needing surgery but inflammation and terrible pain in both shoulders. Hence why I can't keep my head straight or lower the shoulder on whatever side my head is tilting to. Am I the only one that is for lack of a better word... crooked?

Members validated the experience of dealing with head tilt and raised shoulders, sharing that weakness from prolonged rest, chronic neck issues, and pain from both shoulders and spine can all contribute to difficulty holding the head straight. Several members described their own coping strategies, including chiropractic care three times a week, turmeric supplements to reduce inflammation, and in some cases shoulder or neck surgery that restored movement and eased daily pain despite difficult recoveries. A recurring theme was the exhausting reality of adding yet another symptom to an already long list of chronic pain issues, with members offering both solidarity and practical suggestions for managing inflammation and regaining comfort.

I had that problem, I thought it was my shoulder but in actuality it was my neck. I was tilted to one side even if I straightened it out I would slip back to the same position. I ended up having neck surgery. 2 of my disks were really bad.

I just went for an ultrasound on my very painful shoulder and it is full of inflammation as well. Advil works well but can't be taken forever. I have had a sore shoulder for months now. I am taking tumeric pills and it seems to be a little helpful as well.

my neck locks and hurts like hell when I move it, my right shoulder is lower than the left one and often feels like it is breaking. After having chronic pain from a variety of bone diseases I just add it to the list of things that I just have to deal with. I am opposed to surgery for pain management.

I tend to keep my head tilted especially when sat down just find it's more comfortable but I'm the opposite in that I drop my shoulder when it's hurting can always tell when I'm having a bad day with my shoulder as it will be considerably lower then my other shoulder
