I use Acti Patch and it does work, I even wear it in bed. You can get different patches for different parts of the body. I use the one for back pain, I don't like the fact that it is held in place with a bandage that goes around your tummy, but that's mainly because I have developed a fat tum (that's due to steroids).
I would give Acti Patch a go, they cost about £20 and I find they last for about 1 month, £20 is not a lot to pay for pain relief, good luck, Clive

Sorry to hear that you are also suffering as a man with FM
I'm going to look for these patches and try and get them on the NHS if I can prove that they work
Once again sorry to hear of your problems with FM but remember you aren't alone even though there are very few men with this chronic condition

I've never tried it I take Ranexa for my heart and lots of meds have interactions with it.

my gp was quite negative about them really, so haven't tried...

Tramadol and neurontin help me but I take them together.
