Members connected over the strange sensation of neck and head stiffness when resting, describing it as a heavy, weighted feeling rather than sharp pain, with many noting their neck feels too tired to hold their head up during the day. Several members found relief through better pillows, including feather pillows, neck roll pillows, and supportive alternatives for those with allergies, along with heated wheat bags for temporary comfort and gentle massage for tense shoulders. A recurring theme was the validating relief of hearing others describe the same hard-to-explain sensations that friends, family, and even doctors often struggle to fully understand.

Hi, yes every day. I stayed at my sister's house and woke up with much less pain. She has feather pillows. I've since bought myself one for £40 and it has lessened the intensity. I hope you will find comfort 🌸

Another perfect description! I say the same thing..my neck gets tired of holding my head up! Watching tv sitting up just kills me sometimes so often the whole clan(5 of us) are in the bedroom with 3 in the bed, watching tv together! That's really funny when you realize the kids are 17, 20 and 22! Lol

I too, use a feather pillow. Light massage helpsmy neck shoulders as well. When you speak of the weighted feeling, of being pressed into the bed;I experience those same sensations in my legs. Why is it so validating to hear someone else describing
things that you have experienced? I try to describe what it feels like to friends, family or even doctors and though they want to understand, they just can't. Makes you begin to doubt your own self!

Definitely realize all the time that I'm all tensed up in bed and need to relax especially my shoulders and neck cause that's where my original injuries were!
