I walk around like I'm going to fall over. I bump into items and it is very scary driving the car. Its a feeling when you forget to take your meds and you have withdrawal dizziness. it just started a few weeks ago and I did not change a thing in my meds or life. Please any suggestions on what you do for this. Thanks!!

Members widely validated the experience of dizziness with fibromyalgia, with many describing similar symptoms like feeling off-balance, bumping into things, and occasional vertigo that comes and goes unpredictably. Several members shared practical strategies including trying Bonine or prescription Antivert for relief, getting checked for underlying issues like low blood pressure or Lyme disease, and reviewing medications with a doctor since side effects can contribute to dizziness. A recurring and crucial theme was the importance of not automatically attributing every symptom to fibromyalgia, as members shared personal stories of missing serious conditions like TIAs and pulmonary embolisms by assuming everything was fibro-related, emphasizing the need to advocate for thorough medical evaluation when symptoms persist or worsen.

Depending on the medication you are taking. It could be a reaction from one of them

It's not odd according to Google..Dizziness is a term used to describe everything from feeling faint or light-headed to feeling like the room is spinning and a loss of balance. Nearly 70 percent of people with fibromyalgia experience dizziness. The dizziness can occur on a daily basis and happen for an extended periods of time. Chronic dizziness can be debilitating and increases the risk of falls and injuries.

@A MyFibroTeam Member. I had a TIA as well. I never got an answer as to what caused it. Bugs me that lots of stuff is put under the Fibro umbrella when no one is sure. I don't like to think of myself being a hypochondriac but I do worry that something else is going on but no one is paying attention. Just too many odd things going on with no resolution
