Members opened up about experiencing significant memory problems and brain fog since their diagnosis, with many describing frightening moments like forgetting familiar routes while driving, losing track of conversations mid-sentence, or leaving stoves on unattended. Several members shared practical coping strategies that have helped them manage, including using phone reminder apps, keeping monthly planners within arm's reach, setting alarms for medications, and tracking doses to avoid accidental overdoses. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of these memory struggles, with many expressing embarrassment, concern from loved ones about possible dementia, and the difficult reality of having to leave work due to medication errors or cognitive challenges.
