I've been having problems where my feet and legs go numb and then I have a lot of trouble walking. Someone literally has to help me walk or I'll fall. Does anyone else have this problem or any solutions to help?

Members connected over the shared experience of leg and foot numbness that makes walking difficult and unsafe, with several describing weakness, pins and needles sensations, and falls that required holding onto furniture or getting help from others. Several members offered practical strategies including taking vitamin B12, vitamin D, potassium, and magnesium supplements, with one member sharing that their numbness resolved after correcting a vitamin deficiency, while others mentioned seeking medical evaluation for conditions like MS or receiving steroids and pain medications at the hospital. A recurring theme was the seriousness of these symptoms and the importance of talking to a doctor to identify underlying causes, as members emphasized that proper diagnosis and targeted treatment made a meaningful difference in regaining stability and sensation.

I had a numb lower left leg for months it turned out to be a vitamin deficiency. The feeling came back gradually a few months after my vitamin levels returned to normal

I have this as well. I've fallen down my basement stairs three times. My left leg always goes numb, it's so brutal. I started taking potassium and magnesium to help and it does make a difference
