Yes, I took stopped drinking diet soda for over 6 months and when I drank it again pain returned and also hot flashed. I stopped eatting processed sugar 3 years ago - Best thing I could do - it was not easy. I replaced with natural sugar ...such as fresh fruit and honey. It...was not easy...
Yes sugar or that fake sugar can make it worse my fibro doctor says to go a month without it see how u feel then have a drink with it in it n see how u feel
Absolutely. It affects brain, tissue and muscles. People have been diagnosed with MS, and on stopping soft drinks, they 'MS' disappeared... find the doco on sugar... it really is poison.
YES!! I have bad reactions to ANY of the artificial sweeteners, even Stevia which is supposed to be natural. I seem to do best when I eat as little processed food as possible....i.e. fresh fruits and vegetables, making meals from scratch, etc. and avoid sugar. I also know that red food coloring is a problem for me and I suspect a lot of the additives found in packaged foods cause trouble. But aspartame was the first ingredient I was able to connect to flare-ups. Pay attention to what your body is trying to tell you and Good Luck to you!!
Oh yes, definitely. I avoid it completely.
