Is there anybody that went through this and has any tips?
Is there anything I should or should NOT say?
Anything I should or should NOT do?
Anything I should or should NOT wear?
Anything I should or should NOT bring?

Talk to your attorney. They are the best person to answer your questions (and if they can't, you might need another attorney). I'm coming up for a hearing too, although I don't have a date yet. I've already talked with my attorney, and she will meet with me before the hearing to discuss strategy specific to the judge, what I should and shouldn't say, etc. Your attorney is the most likely person to know the judge and what is the best approach to take.
Like I said, though, if your attorney isn't addressing your questions, you might need to find a new one. My last attorney was really bad. Didn't do anything, didn't communicate with me, nothing. And when I complained, he dropped me with a review due in 3 weeks. I learned my lesson and really interviewed the next attorney I got.
I haven't read all the answers yet so if I'm repeating anything, sorry. I had my hearing and was denied again so am awaiting judicial review. One thing for sure, don't dress up and do your makeup like you normally would. I did that (my Mama raised me right) and that was one of the reasons he denied me, saying that I was capable of taking care of myself. If he had asked, I would have told him that my mom had to help me like she does when I'm able to go to church. That also sited the fact that I went to church and the store at times even though I told them that I can't do that alone. Anyway, I saw the judge in Gastonia, on a screen because he was in Maryland or somewhere. PM me and we can talk more about it if you want. Good luck, praying for you!
yes i was the one that said the Dr told me what to write down ! i had been turned down twice ! and then the DR they sent me to helped me with and what to write down and i got approved ! love and peace happiness and GOD"S blessings always michele
