I went through the depression too. Mostly after losing my daughter. They had me on cymbalta for the fibromyalgia but after sinking into a deep depression I went to a psychiatrist only to find out the cymbalta was making it worse cause it wasn't able to work right. I forget what the called it but basically it was working but my body wasn't responding right. Now I am completely off of antidepressants but I have days. Fortunately I have a very supportive husband who can help me through it.

@EllenKryserLabay, I was diagnosed with both in the same year as well. Fibromyalgia first. My asthma takes 3 meds and my fibro I take 2. It's the depression and anxiety that take up the bulk of my meds. Always hurting and anxiety and depression are a way of life. Just worse some days than others.
