Members shared practical strategies for managing widespread fibromyalgia pain, with many discussing medication combinations like gabapentin, Lyrica, tramadol, and Voltaren, emphasizing the importance of taking certain medications consistently rather than as-needed to maintain stable relief. Several members highlighted non-medication approaches that have brought comfort, including myofascial massage, acupuncture, hot tubs, stretching, and warm baths, though experiences varied widely and some noted these therapies can be expensive or painful during flare-ups. A recurring theme was the long, difficult journey to find doctors who believe in and understand fibromyalgia, with members celebrating their supportive providers and encouraging others that the right care team can make all the difference.

I don't have the money for acupuncture. When I have a flare up my hubby has to be careful. The pending storm making the flare ups more intense. Took a bath which help for like 15 minutes. I found a great doctor in Corvallis.

I don't think I have tried myofascia massage. I have had a massage before, where I have told them I have Fibro and they were very careful. I liked it. I have also had acupuncture recently this past year. I do like that too, its less painful than a massage. I have an acupuncturist in Eugene that I really like, she's awesome.

I also use lyrica daily, and voltaren as needed. Have you ever tried myofascia massage? I was thinking of giving it a try. My muscles feel so tight I can barely move sometimes.
